When Jhulea watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
We have a park close to our home that we go to, Wilson Morgan Park. There is also the Riverside Park that we enjoy as well. On days where we can travel, I have taken a few dogs to Bankhead Forrest and walked a trail along the Sipsey River. This is extremely enjoyable with high energy dogs who value a change in scenery. Though all of these are fun past times, and the typical Home Depot, Petco, and Petsmart outings are optional as well... majority of walks will be in our neighborhood.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
Some pets fit well into our family and are able to have free roam, even sleeping in bed with me at night. However this is not suitable in all situations. Some pets feel more at ease in their own crate, or one we provide. This is something that I cannot say as a " one size fits all ". It depends on several factors. If it is a puppy, then the only option is to crate at night.

Time I'll spend with your dog
There will be someone in attendance majority of the time, with a max 2 hour potential gap.

When attending to pets in their own home, I am interested first in the pet's comfort, and second in maintaining a professional and responsible service to my clients. It is important that you can trust me to care for your family pets and to respect your home, property, and privacy.

I know first hand what it is like for pets to be in a kennel situation while their owners are away. It is stressful, loud, and they receive minimal personal contact. In a sitters home they usually receive personalized care, and have more direct contact with the people that care for them. This is a good option for pets that can adjust to their settings fairly well. However, for those clients who prefer their pets to remain in their home with as little change from the usual routine as possible, staying in the pets home is an option.

When we are doing visits to the pet's home, we work with the normal schedule as much as possible. The latest visit scheduled at 10 PM, and the earliest 6:30-7 in the mornings, with a 30 minute window for any visit.

Aside from daily updates to let the client know their pet is receiving the best care, we also leave a log book in the clients home with the time, and a small note about each visit. This offers peace of mind, as well as providing the client a record of their pets mood, and activities while their " parents " are away.
