Reliable, caring, attentive and loves animals

Pet care experience

I absolutely love animals and thoroughly enjoy spending time with them, here are a few examples of the care I can provide, (please feel free to message me if you have any extra requirements not currently listed)... - Enhanced DBS certification (proof available on request) - 11 years experience providing primary care to my own dog - I know lots of local walks and I'm keen to discover new ones local to you - I have a seatbelt attachment for dog leads in my car to secure their safety if they need transporting - I carry fresh water and a water bowl on walks - I always carry dog bags to responsibly take care of "business" - I have experience walking both low and high energy dogs, puppies and seniors - I understand that every animal is different and will have their own special requirements and quirks to be aware of so that I can take care of them to the best of my ability -Please note that I do not currently provide constant supervision before 7pm as I need to walk and care for my own dog within the 24 hour pet sitting booking. (He can typically go 4 hours before needing a potty break, after 7pm someone else is home with him, so I can stay over night with your pet)

The wonderful Jeysie looked after our cockapoo and 2 guinea pigs for a week over Easter and did an absolutely outstanding job! Jeysie is a consummate professional and self confessed fanatical animal lover! Our cockapoo is a nervous/anxious dog but jeysie’s patience and caring nature meant she was able to quickly gain his trust and settle any nerves quickly. In fact, when we returned from our hols he was genuinely sad to see Jeysie go and followed her out of the house! Jeysie kept me updated throughout the week with cute pics and videos of the pets which gave us total peace of mind and put a smile on our faces! She was also super tidy and respectful of our home and we returned to a spotless house and 3 very happy pets! We have already re-booked Jeysie for our summer hols and I would recommend her unreservedly. Thank you Jeysie - you are a complete star! 🙌🙌🙌

Safety, trust & environment

In your home: All pets will be treated with the same love, affection and respect that I give my own dog. If you choose to have me house sit you can be sure to find your house in the same condition it was left in. I don't smoke or drink alcohol so your pet will be in safe hands receiving all the tummy tickles they want. This also means I will be ready to drive if an emergency situation were to occur.

Information Jeysie L. would like to know about your pet

Ahead of time please inform me of: -any medical issues/allergies -what kind of affection they like/dislike -preffered location to walk (optional) -if currently in season -if they like/dislike other dogs/humans/children

A typical day

A typical day with my senior dog would consist of us heading down to the local field where he loves to people watch, stalk squirrels and sunbathe. I provide fresh water on walks and always listen to his body language and take as many breaks as he needs to. With your dog if they are high energy or low energy the walk will be tailored accordingly to suit their needs. It's important to me that they are enjoying themselves and getting the right amount of exercise whilst staying hydrated and safe. All dogs will initially have to be on lead until trust is established and I can be assured that their recall is good enough. For house sitting dogs/cats I can provide a lot of stimulation playing with toys and providing physical affection (if that's what they want). They will be receiving regular potty opportunities and feeding on time as well as having fresh water available to them.

My own dog is slowing down in his golden years so I'm looking to keep myself more active as our "walks" now mostly consist of him people watching and sunbathing. My other work is in the community providing disability arts alongside other creative opportunities mostly local workshops, fairs and alternative volunteer out-reach programmes.
