Pet care experience
I am the most trusted option out of my friends and family to handle and care for any dog. Most people in my life come to me for dog related advice whether it is regarding training, medical or basic care. I have had a dog since I was born and at the age of 6, adopted a pitbull whom I grew up with and we just lost her in June 2020. She taught me love, patience and how a dog can be the best companion. Four years ago, I rescued a Boxer/pit from a irresponsible backyard breeder and saved her siblings and parents from the bad situation they were in. Ever since becoming her mom, everyday I have strived to become the best version of myself and gain knowledge about how her mind works and how I can give her the best life. I am not doing Rover for the money, I am actually building my clientele and plan to go back to school in the coming year to learn about starting a business and the psychology and physiology of a dog so I can be a successful doggy daycare owner in the next 5-8 years! Dogs are my passion and I would love to make room in my heart for your pup too❤️

Again, she was AMAZING! My nervous wrecks had to go though a thunderstorm without their favorite humans. But Jewel was here and comforted them ... I think she may be their new favorite human. Highly recommend!
100%+ satisfied with Jewel. I was new to this process - only had friends/family watch my 4 small but mighty dogs. I was really nervous, but from the moment that I contacted Jewel, she put me to ease. She's extremely kind, helpful, and super coordinated. She will tell you what she will be doing to entertain & care for your fur babies - which included special treats, lick mats, & treat mat. Above and beyond what was expected of her to do! Most importantly, my 4 dogs, who are not very socialized outside of family, LOVED her! At our meet & greet, they had stopped barking and were cuddling with her in 7 minutes (yes, I timed it!). That has never happened! She kept in contact with us during our entire time away, and you could tell from the pictures that they were in love & being spoiled! In fact, I think they were a bit disappointed when we came home, and it wasn't Jewel walking in the door! If you want your babies well cared for, and totally assured that they are being spoiled while you are away (so you can enjoy yourself without worry) - hire Jewel. I can't say enough positive things about our experience with her.
Jewel is great with animals but I know she has a special love for dogs. You would consider her your typical “dog mom” but her love for dogs is not typical- it’s truly unique. You can trust her to take care of your dogs. She will not only respect your dog but treat them like they are her own. I HIGHLY recommend her for anyone who needs a responsible and loving dog caregiver.

I am experienced in dogs as little as 5 lbs all the way up to 120 lbs. Chihuahua or Great Dane, I love all dogs equally and know the importance of you knowing they are safe when you are gone. I encourage enrichment toys such as lick mats, snuffle mats or any other silly game your dog can play to use their senses. Feel free to contact me directly for more questions! What is your dogs triggers? Is your dog leash aggressive? Who is your vet in the case of an emergency? I will need to meet up prior to the drop in’s to have a walk through of your expectations and directions to ensure the best service.
A typical day
Like I stated above, I do recommend before you go on your trip to purchase a lick mat or snuffle mat for your dog so we can engage his/her senses and ease anxiety in the mean time. I will use peanut butter (Crazy Richards is my brand I use which is made with 100% peanuts as the only ingredient- I am also an advocate for dogs eating quality foods without byproducts or harmful chemicals) If this is something you are interested in, shoot me a text and I would be happy to send you an amazon link.

My availability is as follows: Mondays- anytime after noon Tuesdays- all day Wednesdays- unavailable Thursdays- all day Fridays- anytime after noon Unfortunately , my Boxer is a special girl who gets jealous if she has to share my attention so I am unavailable to host dogs at my home until I build/open the daycare I am planning in the future
