Hey there, I am a university student that loves animals and would love to be able to spend my time walking or spending time with pets. I have grown up with large and small dogs (and one very charismatic cat) and I plan on one day becoming a veterinarian so any experience with animals is a bonus. I have dog/house sat for two families already, I really enjoyed my time and it was nice to be able to give the dogs as much care and attention as their owners would have. The one family that I sat for had two huskies and the other family had a giant schnauzer which I had visited and walked since she was a puppy. I currently live with a tibetan spaniel but growing up my family had a rottweiler mix and two great danes so I am comfortable with big and small dogs. I have also done drop in visits for two other families who had cats so I am more then willing to care for them as well.

Jewel is an absolute dream dog sitter . I have a very spoilt anxious and willful fur baby. I only vacation when jewel is available to watch him . I know without a doubt that my dog is in the best care when I leave him with her . Jewel it reliable , responsible and knowledgeable. she caters to all my dogs needs . My dog is fearful and weary of strangers , but he really took to Jewel . They have a great bond and he really responds to her positively. I know he is in good hands when I’m away and that is priceless.
Jewel is amazing! We get her to dog sit anytime we go on vacation and always come home to happy dogs who sleep for 2 days after! Its a comfort to know they are safe and in their own home as well as the house being taken care of.
Jewel is the reason we were able to make it through the first year with our Giant Schnauzer. We hated leaving her for hours while we were at work so we hired Jewel through a friend and she would come daily to walk our girl, give her lunch and play with her. Jewel was a saviour for us and we all adore her. She's so trustworthy and punctual that we also hire her to house site if we go on vacation and if we are unable to take our pets, they stay with her. I highly recommend Jewel, you and your pup will love her.

Ideally I would like to meet your dog or dogs before I start just so that we can meet and your dogs can get to know me. I want them and you to be absolutely comfortable. I don't have any breed preferences since I think it is important to keep an open mind about all dogs.
A typical day
I would love to take your dogs on walks to parks (on leash of course) or just around the neighbourhood, whichever one you are comfortable with. I would be more then willing to play with them in your backyard or just spend time with them so that they do not get lonely.
