Pet care experience
Having grown up around dogs, my husband and I got our first dog as a family in February 2021. We've gone from loving our family pets, to having a puppy of our own, so we're used to the full spectrum of behaviours, training puppies with their challenges, looking after older dogs, and loving them whatever may be. I work from home most of the week, so would happily have another dog join myself and Ralph in our home. We have one big walk a day, which your dog would join us for if they're able. If not, we'd tailor the walks and schedule to make them comfortable. I'll make sure that whilst they have time together to play, but that the dogs also have their own space and attention so that they can relax and switch off apart. I have a fenced garden, and plenty of different spaces for dogs within my home. They will get walks according to their needs, playtime and spaces for them to relax as well.

We have a fully enclosed garden, and lots of beds and comfy places to sleep. I have one friendly dog, and the dogs can play together, but also encouraged to rest and chill out when needed!

If your dog has any special needs, allergies or behaviour issues, then please let me know so that I can tailor the day to this. We'll have lots of toys and chews, so if they have any preferences or dislikes, let me know. The dog will be walking and staying with my dog, so if they have any problems with other dogs I'll need to know this. If the dog has any issues with separation, or preferences of where to rest, then let me know and I'll make sure to accommodate as well as I can. Whilst they're staying with me, your dog will be treated as part of the family, lots of playtime and cuddles, walks and fun.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for at least one big walk a day (although this can be tailored to need), and typically we'll go to the country park or forest for lots of good sniffy walks with places to run around an explore. I have lots of activities for mental stimulation - who needs a recycling bin when you have a pup to engage with scent work through cardboard tubes and games? We'll have lots of fun throughout the day, as well as calm time.
