I've grown up with dogs in my family. I treat them with a lot of love and respect. After they break that trust barrier, dogs tend to love me back just as much as they would their original owners. I frequently watch my mom's dog and my uncle's dog when they are on vacation or will be away from home for an extended period of time. I make sure that the dogs are fed on their schedule and they do not eat regular food unless the owners states otherwise. When taking them for a walk, I may also take them to the dog park to socialize with other dogs. Making sure to keep a good distance and a watchful eye in case there is a dislike between the dogs.
