Pet care experience
I am a Kent State University graduate student completing my Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics with flexible hours this summer! I have always loved animals and throughout my college career, have watched others' animals while they have been away. I love to take dogs on long walks (multiple if needed), love to play fetch for as long as they keep retrieving the ball or the bone, and love to snuggle any animal that needs some love while their loved ones can't be around! If it's a matter of animal sitting or getting your furry friend some exercise, I am your girl! I am willing to work my schedule around family vacations and busy summer plans. We had a mid-week getaway and left our dog in the care of Jessy. As far as we can tell all went very well and it seems that bear was well cared for. Jessy did a good job of keeping us informed about how things were going and we would certainly book her to stay at a future date.
Jessy was extremely understanding of our desire to meet her in advance of letter her stay at our house and take care of our pets. She's an extremely personable, motivated and engaged young woman who left us with absolutely no hesitation about engaging her to take care of things while we were away. She sent photos of our cat so that we could see how he was doing, and kept his feeding area clean. On our return, his litter box and feeding area were clean, as was the house. We will definitely seek Jessy out next time we go away, and can recommend her without hesitation or qualification.
Jessy was a great dog/house sitter. She kept us updated on how the dogs were doing throughout the trip, and showed that she really cared for them. Having her stay with our two dogs throughout our trip really eased the stress of leaving the them for the length of our vacation. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Words cannot explain how happy we are with Jessy! Our pup, six month old Grey, absolutely loved her! She consistently kept us updated on his activities. She made sure to walk him twice a day, played with him consistently and even bought him a toy to keep him entertained. She’s very mature, kind and you can truly tell that she loves taking care of dogs!
