I live near Fairmount park and Kelly drive so there are plenty of spots nearby to take your pup to get some exercise, or I can come to your place and take your dog to their favorite spots. I'm a lifelong dog owner. I raised and trained a Lhaso Apso and a Standard Poodle from puppies. Both were trained to be well-behaved on and off leash. I've also dogsat for many friends, taking care of doggos of all sizes and temperaments. Half blind Chihuahuas, energetic terriers, skittish rescues, big boys and girls, well-behaved, badly behaved, young, old -- I've done it all. I'm experienced with rescues. Rocko, in my profile pic, is a friend's rescue who is very scared of humans and can be dog-agressive. He loves our time together, and when we're on walks or at the park, I take extra prescautions so that a human or dog doesn't get too close and set him off. Can be difficult sometimes because everyone on the street tries to pet that cutie without asking (including sprinting down the street after him!) but I've never had an incident because I don't let people or dogs get close enough to cause a problem. Can work on learning or reinforcing commands, take them for long walks, or just give them some love -- whatever the dog needs, I'll do it. Many friends have said their dog is better behaved after hanging out with me, but I think that's mostly because of all the walks and playtime :) But also because I work to reinforce good behavior and get some training in.
