I have been caring for a wide variety of animals my entire life, including dogs, cats, birds, rodents, and farm animals . I've had at least one dog at all points in my life and have been a professional dog groomer for the last 3 1/2 years, and worked in a doggy daycare for 6 months. I've lived with dogs from a toy chihuahua to an English mastiff, and high energy Brittany spaniels, and can deal with a lot of the different breed characteristics. I know basic dog training, and at one point, I even had a cat trained to sit and lay down on cue. I currently have 3 cats, so I can handle all aspects of cat care, in addition to my 2 dogs. I've watched relative's and friend's dogs in their houses before, and can get along fine with almost all dogs. I'm currently between jobs due to recovering from a workplace injury, so I'm fairly flexible in my schedule. Sunday nights have recurring plans, but I can usually work around them. I'm used to working with a multitude of dogs, or one on one, so I can easily adapt how I care for your pets. I have friends and family with different rules for their own pets, so I'm good at implementing whatever boundaries are in place in your own home. I can snuggle with your baby on the couch, or be firm and stop them from chasing a squirrel on a walk.
