Born to animal-loving parents, I was raised alongside an ever-growing number of pets, most of which were taken in from off the street- we lived on a farm and over the years, had hungry strays of every size and shape wander up. They all became family (as in, inside dogs/cats who were trained, groomed, and very well loved). • I have extensive skill in puppy/crate training, senior care and administering medication. • Expert adaptability to anxious pets; I aim to learn and understand your pet’s unique language with patience, empathy and care. • Extensive experience navigating pets who exhibit fear-based aggression • Extensive experience with elderly English bulldogs and senior pets requiring special attention and care. • Extensive experience with exotic pets such as turtles, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. • Have been professionally pet sitting for 8+ years and come highly referred by all of my clients. I’m currently enjoying my fifth year of work as an independent portrait painter (including pets, celebrities, families, murals, etc!) which allows for plenty of freedom to cater to your pets’ needs. It’s a great way for me to get my ‘animal fix’ while working from home, and I sometimes even have clients request that I paint their pets while I’m sitting :) I am very attentive, flexible and available for boarding, walks, in-home visits/overnights, + plant care in your absence as well, if needed. I have a private backyard and 1 small, well-mannered male Pekingese named Sushi who’d be happy to keep your fur baby company. I can honor any crating requirements you have, or let them enjoy my common areas and bedroom while inside. If staying at your place, I’d bring my portrait work with me and would be 100% available to cuddle and entertain your pet throughout the duration.
