Pet care experience
Hey everyone! My name is Jessie, and I am a scientist and experienced canine kahu (Hawaiian for honored guardian). I had to let my beloved heart dog, Zion, go to the rainbow bridge this fall. I miss him and the canine connection which is what brought me to Rover. I would love to care for your four-legged family. I have cared for my four-legged family (dogs & cats), trained puppies, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered giants (4 St. Bernards; 3 Newfoundlands), tested prospective therapy animal teams, and served with my Newfie as a Registered Pet Partners Therapy team. I have experience administering pills, drops, creams, and injections.

Jessie was wonderful with my pup. She sent many updates each day she had my pup. She’s so sweet and has a welcoming, peaceful aura in her home. My pup got plenty of exercise and snuggles with her. I highly recommend her.
Jessie was so great with Biscuit! Gave updates and pics every day! Walks every day also! Biscuit loved her stay. I would definitely use her again.
Jessie was great with moose. She had a big basket of toys for him to play with that he loved and really provided him a comfy safe place while his parents were out. We got lots of updates and she was absolutely great with him. Would book again in a heartbeat!

My home is stress free and pet friendly. I do not have crates and prefer to not use crates unless absolutely necessary. I have a fenced yard in Riverside surrounded by copious sidewalks waiting to be walked and parks ready to be played.

A typical day
My house comes with toys & treats (if approved). We can play in the house or the yard, lounge around the house, walk the neighborhood sidewalks & parks, and visit dog friendly areas (if approved).

Availability
My work schedule is partially remote and flexible, so we can work together to make suitable arrangements for you and your four-legged fam. Two days a week I am away from home for ~5hrs, but the rest of the week is flexible.
