Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats in my household since I was born. I understand that pets are members of your family and should be treated with the highest possible care. I've worked with animals for over 10 years and I was formerly a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital where I took care of client's pets throughout the day (feeding, walking, monitoring, petting, etc.). I haven’t done much with Rover in the past, but I’m trying to get more active with my account. I recently moved to Lake Ariel, PA from Baltimore, where I was a part-time dog walker/ pet sitter/ pet taxi driver with Happy Dog Baltimore. I have a lot of experience walking single or multiple dogs at a time, cleaning up their messes, recognizing abnormal behavior, taking photos, communicating with pet parents, following directions, etc. I’ll try my best to accommodate you, so please let me know if you have any questions or special requests! :)

I have used Jessie many times for my 2 dogs and 2 cats. She takes great care of all of them. They all quickly bonded and Jessie shows them lots of love. Jessie is super dependable and does a great job each and every time. Highly recommend Jessie!

I am very respectful when I'm in a client's home (take shoes off if carpeted, clean up after myself, wash pet bowls, etc). If something is on the floor that might get chewed on, I make sure to pick it up and put it on a table or counter so it's out of the dog's reach. I put the leashes back where I found them and offer a treat to the dog before I leave.

Is your dog aggressive towards people or other dogs while on a leash? Does your dog have certain places he/she prefers to do their business? Does your dog have any allergies I should be aware of? What commands does your dog know (Ex- "no", "leave it", "down")?
A typical day
I always allow dogs to get plenty of smelling in while out on a walk. However, I do make sure we get enough walking in! If a dog is high energy, I might run with them on the leash to get all of their energy out. If it's an older dog, I will limit how far we walk. Regardless, I always give them plenty of time to do their business!

I work during the week, but I have availability most evenings after 5pm, and open availability most weekends. *** I do not offer overnight pet boarding in my own home because my landlord does not allow dogs on the premises ***
