Experienced & Loving Dog/Cat Sitter
Pet care experience
Animals have always been an important part of my life. In addition to growing up with multiple dogs and cats, I started volunteering at the ASPCA when I was 9 years old. This experience along with my mom’s farm wisdom (you always take care of your animals before yourself) has instilled my deep love and respect for my animal friends. I sincerely love other people's pets and endeavor to treat them as if they were my own. On dog walks, you can expect that I will work with your dog’s needs. High energy dogs will get to walk and jog, play fetch, fly-ball, or go to the dog park time permitting. Older dogs or dogs with special needs will always get exercise but at their own pace. I always have organic dog treats to share and reinforce good behaviors. If you are training your dog to walk or if you are working with a dog trainer I am always happy to support that training with basic instruction from you or your trainer. Drop-In services will include potty breaks, or a brief walk based on your direction. This is also an opportunity for me engage your dog with games to keep boredom at bay, or I can just give lots of pets and love. I’m also happy to give snacks, fresh water, and treats. When boarding your dogs or cats at my house, my goal is to make them feel as if they are at home. My house is pet friendly and has dog beds, toys, and dog door access to a gated back yard. My neighborhood has several parks and quiet tree lined streets ideal for walks and sniffing around. I prefer to board one dog or cat at a time so that I can give them my full attention. Of course, if you are a multi-pet family I am happy to take everyone together! I have a full-time 9 to 5 job but the flexibility to do lunchtime check-ins. My home is also within walking distance of Broadway Veterinary Clinic and Heartfelt Clinic. I’m also a short drive from Dove Lewis. My goal is to spend as much time with your pet as possible, so with your permission, we will run errands together, be social, or just relax at home. I will also send you photos, videos, and updates about your pet daily! During Stay-overs at your home it’s my highest priority to respect your space and your pet’s needs. Dogs will get a minimum of 2 walks per day and lots of attention to keep them happy and engaged. If your dog or cat is a bit of a couch potato, no worries at all, it’s more important to me that they don’t experience any routine disruption that may cause them additional anxiety. I will always leave your home as I found it so your homecoming is relaxing and worry-free. I will also provide daily photos, videos, and updates about your pet.

Information Jessie P. would like to know about your pet
I welcome any breed of dog. I would love to know what makes your pet special! I like to know about any special needs dietary or otherwise. I also would love to know any personal details about your pet's general likes and dislikes. For Ex: My dog hates to walk in the rain / My dog responds really well to this nickname / My dog loves this toy / My dog is nervous around traffic / My dog doesn't play well with others.
A typical day
Dog sitting clients get a minimum of 2 walks per day, we can play high energy games like fly-ball or take a mellow stroll for older pets. There are several parks near my home and a lovely quiet neighborhood where any dog will love to walk.
