I’ve always been told that I’m just one of those people that dogs love. My family has had large herding dogs (collies) for as long as I can remember and I have experience with in-home dog-sitting for a variety of breeds previously for friends, family, and neighbors. With knowledge of certain dogs limitations (heat exposure, allergies, medications, etc.) I care for dogs like they were my own. My job as an athletic trainer is not a typical 9-5 which allows me to be available to take a dog out or go for a walk at times when many others aren’t able to . I am a very active person so walking, biking, running, and hiking with a dog just makes what I usually do more fun!
