I have 3 Golden Retrievers as pets and have eighteen years of personal experience because of having dogs as pets. I am responsible, mature, and know how to handle dogs on walks and pet-sitting. I have also held two internships at the Marshfield Animal Hospital, participated in Tufts Cummings Veterinary School's Adventures in Veterinary Medicine Camp, and volunteered at the Standish Humane Society for cats. During my internships at the Marshfield Animal Hospital, I shadowed Veterinarians and observed clinical procedures, routine check-ups, and surgical procedures. At Tufts, I learned more about how to do these check-ups myself. As a volunteer at the Standish Humane Society, I cleaned rooms, changed linens, and fed and socialized cats. I want to be a Veterinarian in the future so I have a kind, open heart to all dogs. Overall, these experiences make me knowledgeable and skilled in checking in on, taking care of, and walking dogs.
