Pet care experience
I've been involved with taking care of dogs since I was a toddler, even caring for my own dog all throughout college into my adulthood. I have experience with all age groups of dogs, including puppies and seniors. Currently, I share dog custody with my parents (leaving me an empty nester most of the time), so I want to hang out and chill with some dogs to fill the void while my baby is away! There will be no other dog (or animal) in the unit at the time of your pup's stay. My partner will be around though, and he will also be giving your pup some loving! I have experience with bully breeds as well as German Shepherds, so larger dogs are no concern for me.

I've had the pleasure of working with many dog sitters in the 13 years and cross country moves through which I've had my dog. Jessie was remarkable and the best I've worked with. She is so caring, patient, and enthusiastic. I felt so comfortable and happy knowing my sweet pup was with her. I will be back next time I'm out of town.
Jessie took care of my 3 cats while I was away for a weekend trip. She was fabulous - super communicative, thorough, and conscientious. I couldn't recommend her more highly to fellow cat owners. Thank you Jessie, for looking after my buddies.
Jessie and Luke are the absolute best! They watched our blind, senior dog several times while we were in town for the holidays and were an absolute joy to work with. Super responsive, flexible, and took great care of our pup. He enjoyed all the snuggles and walks :) Highly recommend!
Jessie was the best caretaker for my energetic and sometimes challenging puppy! She was very responsive and sent lots of updates. I could not recommend her enough!

I currently have an apartment and no yard, but I can walk dogs on a routine schedule as well as take them out as needed. I try to be as communicative with the client as possible regarding all pet's needs, acting as the pet sitter I would want for my own puppy.

Please let me know as much as you can about your pup in advance! Specifically, feeding schedules, exercise schedules, and how social your dog is are the most important things for me to know. Please let me know if your baby mixes well with other dogs, or any potential triggers they have so I can be diligent!
A typical day
I live incredibly close to Rittenhouse Square, so as long as the dog in my care is social, we would absolutely go to the park and run around and play! When my pup that I co-parent is here, we love to go on walkies around the square or sometimes depending on the weather to the Schuylkill River Trail. Since Rittenhouse is so walkable, there's really no limit to what we could do!

Availability
Currently, I am working from home as a writer and editor, leaving me with a lot of spare time to devote to pets! My routines will revolve around the care needed for the dog. Everything I do is based on home, such as my writing jobs and health appointments, so I would be hanging out with your little one all day!
