I’ve been puppy sitting for friends for 10 years. I also pet sat back in college. I’m also very picky on who watches my Jewel. Animals will tell you when the energy is not right. I take my own fur ball for at least 2 long walks a day or she goes stir crazy. I believe our pups need to get outside of their yards and explore the world! I would love to take your baby out for sniffs and a 💩.

Jessie is a loving and responsible pet caregiver and parent! She’s kept 2 of my dogs for me many times! She makes sure they are walked and fed well and cuddled! She definitely spills them, she’s been known to make fresh dog food from scratch!

I will have a few questions to ask you so that I know your pet’s routine and how to best care for them. If you would like in-home care, we will set a time for me to come to your home to meet your dog and familiarize with their habits, treats, “command” words, sleep and play routine.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or behaviors. Where they prefer to sleep as well your preferred vet and after hours emergency vet contact information. If there’s any gate codes or if I need to be on a list for your neighborhood.
A typical day
Every dog has a unique routine, favorite toys, and activities. Is your dog typical? Nope. They’re all special. I want to know where they like to walk, and make sure they get enough smells in, if they like to interact with other dogs, or we should keep him/her separate. If they need treats when they do “leave it” and separate from another dog. Do they like to play fetch or tug of war, or if they just prefer to nap & cuddle. Or maybe they need lots of chew things, lick plates, etc. I want to be an extension of you. No matter what, I’ll send lots of pics!

Availability
I begin working full time on May 6th. After that date I’m available on weekdays for a morning feeding/walk and late afternoon/evening feeding and walk and overnights. Weekends are open. If I’m house sitting I will be bringing my husky, Jewel. She’s friendly with other dogs. Please message me if your timing or schedule doesn’t fit perfectly with the Rover scheduling template.
