Hello! My name is Jessie, I am a pharmacy technician (almost 15 years now) who will be finishing my bachelors next year to then go to graduate school (online) for art therapy! While I love caring for patients part time while I finish school, I would love an opportunity to meet some of our area’s most loved fur babies and help some workaholics like me give their pets all the loving (and extra care if need be) that they truly deserve! I myself currently have 2 cats (3 until a month ago 😔 who left us from natural causes) but was raised on Long Island, NY with lots of different animals (including dogs), even a pony and 2 mountain goats at one time! With all of my human healthcare experience (including vaccinating roughly 300 people for COVID and flu), I figured this would be the best possible side gig I could utilize to get paid for something I think I’d honestly do for free! (Also my bachelors will be in fine art with a minor in psychology, and I love drawing portraits and have a digital SLR camera with which I can beautifully photograph your loved ones if you’d like for free! It all helps me in my classes anyway!)

Can’t say enough good things about this kid. She was watching my diabetic cat when I was away for two weeks. I can tailed giving her insulin shots twice a day. Which that Cat. was not crazy about. And she handled it like a pro. I almost think my cats liked her better than me. And recently she has watched my new dog, He happens to be a blue nose pit and mastiff mix. Yes quite a large animal. We’re going back on vacation and she will yet again be his mom for the week. Can’t tell you how my pets love her. And how much I appreciate and love the job that she does she’s actually part of the family now
When Jessie cares for my pets I know I don't have to worry about them. I have found her to be very reliable and trustworthy. She makes sure they are cared for and happy! 🙂

I live in a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house with a yard (but no fencing yet, new house!). Our own cats aren’t incredibly comfortable around new animals, but we have multiple small closing rooms like a laundry room and a guest room upstairs so if absolutely necessary I can accommodate but prefer to travel myself!

I work part time on weekends, and also go to school full time so my openings in availability will generally remain the same, predictably, throughout the semester. Starting in may my schedule opens up even more!
