Pet care experience
Hello everyone! My name is Jessica. I have been on Rover in the past, for 3 years but had to take a break because I was growing a family of my own! I took on pet care services to help make a little extra money while my husband and I were starting out and getting on our feet. Little did I know that I would be creating relationships with families that I still hold dearly to this day!! I have been able to keep relationships with clients even after my break and I have received updates about the fur babies I would take care of. I loved every minute of it so much that I thought "Why not?! Let's jump back into it!". I have experience with all kinds of pets, large and small. I am open to dog walking during the day as well overnight stays. I will need advance notice for any overnight stays as I do have a family of my own and would need to coordinate. Please note that I do have a day job, standard 8am-5pm. So, please keep this in mind if your pet does require a number of check-ins throughout the day. I am open to interviews prior to any care with the owner just so we all agree that I would be the right person for your family. We were a little nervous to use Rover for the first time, especially during Christmas, but Jessica made our first experience a great one. Jessica stayed with our two pups over the Christmas holiday while we traveled. She was great. She took great care of our dogs, sent frequent updates, and is very responsive to texts. Our dogs were happy staying in their own home and loved spending time with Jessica. Will certainly book with her again in the future.
Jessica went above and beyond while dog sitting for us. One of our dogs has canine epilepsy and she was willing to learn how to handle a seizure episode. She also distributed daily medication. This was the first time we left the dogs and they did exceptionally well under her care. She kept us updated with pictures. We will definitely be hiring her in the future for more dog sitting, and I highly recommend her for anyone who is interested In needing pet care.
Jessica was always responsive and informative. She let me know what was going on with Dottie through out our trip. She left our home as she found it, maybe better.
Jessica was amazing at our house and looking after the dogs - even dealt with a tree coming down on to our garage - kept us in the loop, sent photos, and made sure our fur babies were safe !! Highly recommend !

I always like to make sure I am aware of any medical issues/concerns the dogs may have. If they are on any medication I should know about, if they're on any special food, if they have a specific diet, etc. I also like to know if they have a strict schedule as far as going outside or specific time for walks just so I can accommodate to their needs.
A typical day
I will take your dog on walks during my stay with no additional charge! There is also no additional charges for bathing. I play games with them if they have any toys. I will also make sure that they get plenty of attention!

I have a day job located in Jeffersonville, IN. My schedule is 8am-5pm. I am able to do walks/ check-ins on lunch breaks and care for pets when I am away from work. Please schedule an interview with me prior to booking to ensure that I am the right fit for you!
