I've never met a dog I didn't love!
Pet care experience
I've only had dogs (most of them amazing rescues!) since I was 3 years old. Since then, I've cared for everything from my neighbor's laid-back senior Golden retriever to my former landlord's loud and busy gaggle of chihuahuas, and I've enjoyed every bit of time spent with them. Dogs are more than pets; they're fluffy family! Every dog is different and deserves attention while their family is away or busy, so my goal is to provide that for you. As far as other pets, I'm allergic to cats, but willing to care for them while house sitting. I also have experience with guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish; if you have any different critters, just show me what to do and I'll make sure they're loved while you're away. I'm looking for a job that's flexible and fun to provide a little extra income for my family. My hope is that the attention I give enriches your dog's life and makes both them and you happier and healthier. Thank you for letting me help you!

Jessica is just an awesome person over all. She is very hardworking and detail oriented. Jessica has had dogs since I can remember and has always been great around animals of any kind! 1) What is your favorite thing about your dog? What do you most wish you could change about your dog? 2) What special needs does your dog have, if any? What medicine(s) does your dog take and will I need to administer it while caring for them? Please show me the easiest way to administer the medication so that I can make sure I'm doing it right. 3) Is your dog primarily indoors, outdoors, or a combination? Is your dog crated while you're away? 4) Is your dog leash-trained? Do they wear a harness or just a collar on a walk? Does your dog like to jump and/or chase? 5) Does your dog have any "triggers" (loud noises, specific types of people, other dogs or animals, etc.) that I should know about, especially while on a walk? 6) How do you correct your dog's behavior? I want to make sure I'm keeping things consistent for them. I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
If you have any parks with dog-friendly trails nearby, please let me know if your pup likes to visit them or not! I would hate to go someplace your dog is uncomfortable going. I especially love to play fetch and go for walks or gentle runs (not really a marathoner, but we can go fast for short bursts!). I'm also good for belly rubs, back & head scratches, giving treats, and playing chase.
