Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jessica! I am a vet technician at a veterinary emergency clinic. I have my bachelor's degree in Animal Science and I am now continuing my education to apply for Vet School! I have always had a love for animals and have been caring for them for as long as I can remember. From taking care of stray cats to trying to nurse a bird back to health at the age of 7. If there is an animal in need, I will try to help! Since then, all I ever cared about is helping and caring for animals! I am comfortable with being around all animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, etc.)! In the past, I have worked at a pet shop, the local animal shelter, and a pet adoption center. From each of these workplaces, I've learned many things dealing with animal behavior and medicine, as well as different views about caring for animals overall. In my free time, I like to read, write, cook, paint, go to the park (accepting walking buddies!), and watch tv while chilling on the couch.

Jessica is exceptional with animals. She is always the first one I go to about my cat or dog. She is a caring individual who goes the extra mile to care for animals, rather they are her’s or others. She always makes sure her animals are up to date with vaccines, or she makes sure they are well fed and cared for. I can text or call Jessica with a question and she immediately answers with solutions concerning my pet questions. I call her the animal whisper for a reason. That’s how amazing she is. My animals love her and honestly who wouldn’t.

There is a park nearby that is very beautiful and has multiple walking trails! Would love to have new walking buddies to keep me company! I will also make sure to take the utmost precautions with caring for all fur babies! To make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. Especially the shy/nervous ones! Also it would be very helpful for me to know if your pet has: Food or Animal Aggression. High prey drive (likes to chase small animals). People/children friendly.

I would love to know anything that is important about the fur babies! Here are a few things that come to mind that would greatly help while caring for pets: Any medical conditions Allergies High prey drive (tends to chase small animals) Animal/Food aggression Do they love to eat non food items or believes everything is a chew toy. Things that may make them nervous or anxious. And just overall behavior qualities that I may need to know about!!
A typical day
One thing that a learned from working at adoption centers and the local animal center is that pets need enrichment! They need something to keep them occupied, especially the working breeds. I love being creative with finding things to do to keep the fur babies entertained. So whether it's walking, making kongs for them if it's allowed, or maybe making homemade busy boxes and puzzles for them, I am all about finding creative ways to keep the babies busy!!

I’m currently working part-time at a veterinary emergency clinic. My schedule is set leaving me with free time during the mornings up until a little time in the afternoon. I am also a full-time student with Tuesday morning/afternoon being my busiest day. But just to make sure, please message me so we can work through my schedule!
