Pet care experience
I worked for Ankeny Pet Salon/Ankeny Pet Services for 4 years helping take care of the boarding dogs & cats whether that be feeding them, going on walks, administering medicine, playing or cleaning up after them. I’ve always had family pets growing up and 5 years ago decided to try fostering through Forever Home Dog Rescue. My husband and I fostered Sadie for a few months before deciding to have her stay forever. With her past, she has to be the only dog in the home. I love helping out however I can for others and look forward to caring for your fur babies.

Jessica was great! She clarified any questions she had, she sent a lot of pictures of Loki, he seemed very well taken care of!
So happy I found Jess to watch my sweet Rosie girl while I was gone overnight! I will definitely be hiring her again. She was great to communicate with from setting up a meet and greet to giving me multiple updates while I was gone. In every picture update she sent, my dog looked happy and relaxed and that's all I can ask for. I highly recommend Jess to take care of your dog!
Jessica stayed at our house for six nights. She watched our dog and cat with no issues while working remotely. She handled a few problems with ease when the power went out once and the dog misbehaved a few times (vomit, chewing, etc.). We had no problems at all and would hire her again. Her communication skills were excellent.

A typical day
I look forward to going for walks, playing with their favorite toys, exploring new areas and more. Sadie and I enjoy walking around our neighborhood and sometimes if it’s not too busy we go to Grays Lake.

I work full time, but am able to take longer lunches in order to let doggos out or for a short walk. I have a flexible schedule.
