Pet care experience
I've been taking care of pets of all kinds since I was a kid. I'm currently a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Iowa. I've fostered both cats (kittens) and dogs (puppies). I have a very large catio that cats can enjoy the fresh air and birds chirping. I've got a fenced in yard for dogs to get some exercise. I have my own pets that enjoy (and are used to having) other animals in the home. My dog, Rip, loves playing with other dogs and shares his bed and toys with any new comers. I'm also experienced in animals that don't get along. I have enough space to separate, if necessary, without the need to use a kennel or basement.

Jessica was amazing and took great care if our Sumo while we were on vacation. She was a great communicator and sent us updates everyday. It really made our vacation better because we knew Sumo was being well taken care of back home. I will for sure use her service again in the future!

Let me know if you're dog has specific needs that I can account for. I do not have any breed restrictions at this time. If your dog prefers quiet, let me know that as well. I have special space for relaxation.
A typical day
A typical day will start early. We get up, stretch, eat, and play outside for a little bit. On a weekday, I go to work for a couple hours and come home on my lunch hour. While I'm gone, I let pets stay where they're most comfortable (i.e. free roam on the couch, my bedroom, kennel). On a weekend we may go for a morning walk.

Availability
I work full time Monday through Thursday. I work 10 minutes away from home and always come home on my lunch so pups can get outside and play while I enjoy my lunch.
