Many pet sitters/dog walkers love their own animals and have had many (as have I!) but what makes me different is my experience working at two different doggy daycare facilities with a variety of breeds and sizes of dogs. I have been trained to handle dogs in a variety of capacities. My experience at doggy daycares totals to two years. Our yard is two acres so there is plenty of walking room. We do not have fenced yard and therefore never allow dogs we are sitting off-leash. Their safety is first and foremost! Part of our property borders Oxoboxo Brook so if you're pet is into water they will love splashing around in the stream. As for some personal background: I recently graduated with my MSW and I now work as a therapist with teenagers and their family's. I love my job and it allows for flexible scheduling so I can run home and check on the doggies. My office is 10 minutes from the house, so I'm never far. I moved to Connecticut in 2012 from Denver, CO and have been enjoying all of the hiking and seafood that New England has to offer. I have two wonderful dogs, Mojo and Bosko. Both are rescues and have turned out to be wonderful dogs as I focus on positive reinforcement and consistent expectations. I also have a very sweet kitty named Bug.
