Pet care experience
I have had my own dogs since I was 8, and have now fostered over 20 dogs from and still dog sit for some. My husband and I both work from home, and with a fenced in yard it is easy for us to let the dogs out often. We have 4 kids that love to snuggle with any pets in our home. Our cats have become accustomed to new pets entering the home and know how to hide 😉 You can see plenty of foster dog / sitting activity on my IG: curating.the.chaos

I have a fenced in yard and baby gates / safety locks to prevent kids from accidentally letting dogs out. The dogs we care for become a part of the family, with free reign to the home and allowing them to sleep in our rooms (or crate if they prefer). We stick to the routine and care requested from the pets family.

A typical day
We love to play fetch and run around the backyard. We have a wonderful, dog friendly neighborhood with sidewalks to take long walks for dogs that like to get out.

Availability
I work from home so am able to easily and frequently let the dogs outside for potty breaks or playtime. With 4 kids, we are up early to tend to the dogs and keep them to a routine.
