Pet care experience
I've had pets in my life ever since I was a child. I was 10 the first time we rescued a bottle fed kitten and saved it. It changed my life, since then I've always had pets, domestic and exotic. Currently we have two dog and three cats. Over the years I've had multiple other dogs and cats, as well as a chinchilla, hamsters, mice, fish, and a grey squirrel we rescued and successfully released back into the wild. We have also fostered dogs and cats of all aged through a local rescue, including experience with animals that have special diets or require medicine. We do have children in our home that have been exposed to pets since they were born, they love animals of all kinds and have learned to treat them with respect. Whether your pet likes it sleep snuggled in your bed or safely tucked in their crate, they can be happy in our home. Just let me know what your pet needs and is used to we will do our best to accommodate them so they can feel happy and at home while you are away.
Reviews
We have used Jessica and her family.several times now and have always had a great experience. My dog is excited when we drop her off! Thank you, Jessica, for amazing care!
Our puppy stayed the weekend with Jessica and her family, and as always, came home happy and was very well cared for. Highly recommended! Thank you, Jessica!
Jessica is a great sitter! My 3 year old GSD clearly loves hanging out with her and her puppies. She keeps you updated with photos during the stay. This was our second time with Jessica and we will not hesitate to reach out to her in the future for more stays!
We called at the last minute for a weekend stay. Jessica was very accommodating and Maisie had a great time. This is her second stay, and Jessica always makes her feel right at home. She communicates well and promptly. Jessica will always be our first call when we are headed out of town!

When your pet comes to our home they will be treated just like at your home! We do allow pets on our furniture but if your pet is more comfortable sleeping in their crate or own bed, we will get them all set up in a place that makes them happy. If your pet needs a slow introduction we have a special room set up downstairs that we have used for fosters that need more space, so they can relax away from our personal pets. It is completely finished and climate controlled with a private door to our fenced backyard. For drop-in care at your home, I will let your pet out to use the bathroom (whether in the yard or on a short walk), check that their food and water dishes are maintained and full, play with the dog(s) for a short while, and clean up any messes that they might have made. If you choose in home care while you are away, I generally come by twice a day and spent about 45 minutes with your pets. This is a very rough estimate, because I believe that every animal deserves the best care for them. For some pets that might be playing for an hour and for other's it might mean they are happier being left alone. If you are out of town, I can also water your plants and bring in your mail if you'd like. I focus on tailoring my services to what each family and pet needs to make them feel at home.

Information Jessica T. would like to know about your pet
I love pets of all shapes and sizes. It helps me to know ahead of time if they have been socialized with other dogs, cats, or children.
A typical day
Dogs spend group and individual time in the yard every day, always closely watched for safety. We try to go for a short walk each day, if appropriate for your dog.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule, so your pet will have someone with them and be able to play and use the bathroom on their schedule. I always supervise the dogs while they are outside in the yard for playing and using the bathroom. If more than one dog is boarding, they also each get specialized playtime alone so they can receive plenty of attention and exercise. Dogs are always fed separately and closely monitored while they eat, since feeding times can be volatile with other pets. It's important to me that your pet is safe and happy
