Jessica has cared for a few of my own pets, plus many others in the surrounding area. Our neighbor, while sick, entrusted Jessica with the care of her own dog to walk and feed him, when applicable. She became a trusted friend and also serves the Humane Society of Ocean City with valuable donations, when possible. She has cared for over three of her own pets in the previous year, including our adopted cat "Sera." At first, not only was she standoffish and frightened, she was very scared of the other animals in our home. Quickly, she took to Jessica as a worthy companion and they've become close ever since. Not only did Jessica make her feel welcome, but the love that grew between them was nothing but astonishing. Our dog Louis, whom is a rescue, also took closely to Jessica. When her car arrives at the front door, he is the first to meet and greet her upon arrival, wagging his little tail! It takes a lot for pets that have been through tramatic life experiences to grow attached to humans, especially after going through horrific abuse, but they trust and love her unconditionally. This is why I would highly recommend Jessica, as her fondness and caring nature for all animals, including dogs, is one that is almost unmatched. The trust, love and devotion they show to her also deeply supports my unwavering feeling in regards to her as an animal lover. I am confident she would make an excellent caregiver for anyone in need of a dog sitter!
