When I was I young i grew up around a stressful and neglectful childhood. My parents were always fighting and I became deaf at a very young age but when I got my first dog Peaches ( may God bless her soul) my life turned around. Suddenly I had a companion, someone that could listen to me despite my disability. Peaches and I went everywhere together and we were practically unseperable. When I got her I was 12 years old and at that age I would bathe her, feed her, walk her and most of all love her. Peaches passed when I was 20 from stomach cancer but she still lives with me. And I think about her everyday. As a former and current dog owner I know what loving a dog is and I know that it is the best kind of love.
