I've grown up with all kinds of pets from a young age. During the first year of the pandemic, I rescued, fostered and then rehomed 9 puppies/dogs who were sadly abandoned all while having 4 family dogs of our own. Recently, I was providing daily hospice care for my senior 12 year old German Shepherd until she passed on. I am gentle, caring and good with timid ones and to be honest not much of a disciplinarian but I will be firm when I need to be. I am good with senior pets and have experience with taking them to and being involved in physiotherapy care and feeding medication and just taking their cue and allowing them to dictate their pace. I have been pet-sitting and dog walking as part-time work now for 3 years, as I am always the go-to person in my friendship circle and decided to make a go at it while I freelance as a designer and I find it very rewarding. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible at the moment. I am also based quite centrally so it wouldn't be too much trouble for me to travel to any boroughs. I enjoy exploring the city with my 4 legged clients and discovering little adventures along the way. I would take the owner's heed when it comes their pet, home and boundaries and follow accordingly because consistency is very important for a pet.
