Pet care experience
I am a current graduate student who is looking to spend my free time doing what I love while making some extra money. I grew up surrounded by pets and have spent time volunteering at various animal organizations, as well as pet sitting. I have also fostered several cats over the last few years. Throughout my 18 years of pet experience, I have been responsible for both cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I also have experience watching several dogs and cats at a time, as I have been a pet sitter for houses that have up to six dogs and two cats. I currently have four cats and a Great Dane mix at home. In the future, I hope to establish my own cat rescue organization.

Jessica is an amazing pet mom to her Saint Dane and several cats, all of which she has rescued. She has volunteered in a cat shelter and has fostered several cats, until she was able to help the shelter find these cats forever homes. She grew up in a home with 2 German shepherds who she adored. She has a huge heart for animals and is very capable and responsible. I would highly recommend her to be a loving pet caregiver.

I am always careful to follow directions given by pet parents, as I have a cat who has special needs and understand how important this is. I also try to maintain a specific routine (I.e coming at the same time of day) to make the cat/dog as comfortable as possible.

A typical day
I’m a very active person and love to go for walks with the dogs I watch! I have a very high energy Great Dane/St. Bernard at home and I know how important it is to make sure dogs are stimulated and entertained. I also love to play with dogs in their yard at home or even just play with their toys at home.

Availability
I work full time M-F, but I work from home on Mondays and Thursdays. Because of this, I am available to pet sit at home on those days, or do drop in visits during lunch. On weekends I am flexible!
