I absolutely LOVE dogs, my fiance and I each had our own dogs when we met and lucky for us they became best friends, his dog unfortunately passed away a couple of years ago so we are currently a one dog household. I had a dog growing up and knew that as soon as I moved out on my own I was going to become a dog owner! Needless to say, when I got my own place I also got a puppy! His mom is full Cocker Spaniel and dad is a mix of Rottweiler, Lab, and Pug, I can't believe it but he is about to turn 13....although he still acts 3. This year he was diagnosed with diabetes so I check his blood sugar at minimum 2x a day and give him insulin twice a day. If your dog needs any type of poke or injection I've basically become a pro! Any dog I take care of I treat like my own, I truly feel like my family has grown since I started doing this. It's hard leaving your dog with someone you don't know much about and because of that I've become close with a lot of my repeat clients and their dogs are like my nieces and nephews! The unconditional love you get from a dog is absolutely amazing! They don't care what you've been through that day, what you're wearing, or how bad your morning breath is (lol)....they're always happy to see you, just want to be near you, and most importantly want to love you!
