Hello! I'm a 26 year old, studying my PhD in Neuropsychology. I also have a Minor in Religious Studies and Philosophy. I was raised around animals since being born. My grandmother and mother used to foster dogs as I was growing up. This taught me at a young age how to respect animals and be polite. I have trained my animals myself and my brothers's too via positive reinforcement, this means I do NOT use any harsh training or punishment. I worked on a Suicide Prevention Lifeline and that made me be able to keep calm in difficult situations and become well versed in many. I have worked as a pet care associate and have volunteered numerous times at humane societies. I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as bad dogs, but only dogs that need training or need to learn to love again. I don't believe in "bully breeds." All dogs deserve to be treated with utmost respect and that is exactly what I will do for them and for you. Cats deserve love and affection. Cats have variable temperaments and I'm always interested in their behaviours. I have dealt with small animals and reptiles (I have had several) and have no fear with any of them either, even tarantulas are not a problem - if you need me to check on them, I will do that also! I used to administered medication to my own Lab as he was a senior and cleaning up is not a problem either, accidents happen for dogs. People worry about their animals when they're away and communication, trust and honesty is key with me.
