Hello, my name is Jessica B. (the S is for my maiden name). I have felt a connection with animals my entire life. I've never lived in a household without a furry companion. I am the mother of a little boy, so I have a natural instinct to nurture. Growing up, I've always had a dog (or several) living with me, along with other smaller pets such as rabbits, hamsters, ferrets, a chinchilla, birds, fish, rats, mice, an iguana, snakes, a cat, and even flying squirrels. In addition to having my Veterinary Assistant Certification, I have experience as a kennel technician in both a veterinary clinic and a pet boarding/daycare facility. I also have experience working in a clinic at an animal shelter. My brother's first job in high school was as a veterinary assistant where he met his wife who had the same job and continued her work in that field. They are constantly passing on their vast knowledge of animal care to the rest of our family. I want to help care for your animals because caring for animals is something that I enjoy. When I know that animals are taken care of and happy, then I'm happy. I will not mind cleaning up mess outside (or anywhere else), bathing your pet, getting slobbered on, etc. I've been pet sitting for my family members for years; feeding, walking, and playing with their pets. Caring for animals is what I was born to do.
