In my household we treat our dog Basil like she is our daughter. I want to share this love with other dogs and help their owners when they must be away. My philosophy when sitting your fur baby is to treat them like they are my own. I know leaving your dog is stressful so I want to make it as comfortable and stress free as possible. I like to know your expectations for the stay and keep you updated during the entire experience! I love to send daily (sometimes multiple times a day) updates and pictures while you are away! Relax while you are away and let your dog be a part of our loving home! About this sitter: I am a labor and delivery nurse who works at Providence in Everett. I only work 3 days a week so I have lots of time at home that I love to spend with my fur babies. I have the most amazing Toy Australian Shepherd named Basil and cat named Elsa. They are the loves of my life. But I would love more dogs to love! I love all dogs, big or small, cuddly or active. I love to spend time walking and playing with any pooch! I treat every dog like they are my own. I do not have one certain way of caring for dogs, I simply cater to whatever needs the owner and dog have. Our time could consist of walks and fetch or lots of time cuddling on the couch. Or both! I also know how hard it is to be away from your dog (I have separation anxiety from my fur babies) so I am a huge fan of sending updates via text or Rover to the puppy parent while they are away. Pictures included! Why I love dog sitting: I have been a dog lover since I was born! I am absolutely obsessed with animals and have been around them since I was little. About my yard: We have a fenced back yard with a grassy area for dogs to play. This area is big enough to play fetch and run around in. We also have an extremely large unfenced front yard that is available for potty breaks or play if your dog is safe off leash. My experience administering medication: I work as a nurse in an acute care setting in a hospital so I am very comfortable administering all types of medications including injections.
