Pet care experience
I have had pets almost my entire life. When I was young, I had guinea pigs, mice, rats, hamsters, and gerbils. As an adult, we have had a dog, cat, rats, and a bearded dragon. We also spent a year and a half fostering cats and kittens for the SPCA when we lived in Virginia. We lost both our cat and dog to age/illness (both aged 14) in the past year and miss having furry animals around the home to care for but are not yet ready to open our hearts to a new pet permanently. I have periodically provided overnight care to a friends dogs, but would love to open up our home to other pets whose owners needed short or long term care for their pet!

Jessica was so nice and clearly enjoys being with pets. She helped us out last minute and was very communicative. I really appreciated the photos which she sent and her flexibility with pick up. I would absolutely leave my dog with Jessica again when visiting the area!
Oh my gosh. I cannot say enough nice things about Jessica and her husband. They were absolutely lovely. And very reasonably priced. Super quick with communication and sent lots of photos. It takes my youngest dog a while to warm up to anyone and she warmed up to them unbelievably quickly. I plan on using Jessica again anytime I can, and recommend her to anyone. My dogs jumped on her coffee table the minute they walked into her house, and she just laughed. I knew she was good from that minute on. Thank you Jessica! ❤️

I will treat your pets as my own. They will be allowed free roam of the home and fenced back yard. (dogs outdoors, not cats of course!) Pets are always allowed on the furniture in our home as well, and my son is more than happy to have them sleep in his room if they want to. Feeding schedule, etc will be based on however it is usually done in your home so it is an easier transition for your pet to be in our home.

Availability
I only work part time, so I am mostly at home and can be with your pet for most of the day. When I am not at home, my 23 year old son is, and he adores all animals and ill love helping out.
