Pet care experience
New: Increased availability! Now available most days and times for drop-in visits, walks, runs, and overnights! Fido will get lots of pets, and snuggles, and scratches behind the ear when in my care! Fido will also get some energy out - we'll walk/run/play, whatever Fido and Fido's parents want! This time of year it is dark pretty early, so we'll walk/run on pedestrian pathways that are lit and safe, and we'll go to the park. I have experience with quite a variety of dogs - some social, some anxious, some scared of half of the population, and one that wanted to hunt anything in sight it though it had a chance at...they all have their own personalities, quirks, and needs! I am sensitive to those needs, and will make every effort imaginable to provide comfort, safety, and fun for the creatures I get to meet. Currently petless, I look forward to caring for your pal as if it was my own, and maybe spoiling her/him, just a little. Some pet owners have rules about where Fido can and cannot go, or other doggie-manner expectations, and as long as those are communicated to me, I'll maintain the same expectations. Whether you're going on a trip, just need someone to check in during a long day, or want help burning some energy, I am happy to connect with you and your four-legged pal!

Jessica was wonderful with our 4-legged kiddo, Kona. She gave him all the love and attention one could ask for, took him out for daily exercise so he could burn energy and enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, Jessica left a clean house to return to! It was nice to come home after 5 days away and have my only focus be snuggling with Kona and relaxing for the evening. We will definitely use Jessica again and often.

I'd like to know the usual things, like what your regular routine/care looks like, what preferences or challenges Fido has, what motivates Fido, and anything else you feel is important. In order to keep your pal safe, I'd like to know how Fido does in public, too? Ok with other pets? New humans? Kids? If we're going to be running, I'd like to know a little about that too! I enjoy all dogs! For running my favorite are around knee-high and taller, just to lessen the risk of us tripping on each other. **I have a cat allergy, so if there are any cats at home, I am not the best sitter for you, and will not sleep over. If you're in a pinch, I can probably make it work where I can come by your place a bunch of times to look after Fido, but I will not stick around the house much.
A typical day
Does your pal have extra energy? Need help wearing Fido out? I can help with that! Let's go for a run! After taking care of the basics, it will be my pleasure to take your dog on a walk, run, or combination of the two, whatever suites Fido's needs and energy level. Running is natural for dogs; most love it! Running helps them burn off extra energy, reduces anxiety, increases mental stimulation, and reduces destructive behavior. If your dog is new to running, we can start out nice and slow, and check in to see how Fido's doing before increasing distance or speed. Running not in Fido's future? Totally fine. I'm happy to accompany wanderers and avid napper as well.
