In high school I volunteered at an animal shelter where I learned how to perform basic duties like bathing animals, walking, reading body language, and cleaning cages. While earning my BS in Animal Science I interned at the Humane Society, volunteered at multiple organizations including the SPCA, and worked as a veterinary assistant for 2 years. Friends and colleagues have relied on me to watch their puppies, adult, and senior animals. Currently, I am a second-year vet student and over the years I have gained valuable experience administering medication, vaccines, first aid, and other skills that allow me to properly care for your fur babies!
