I'm a great house sitter and dog walker because I'm calm, responsible, and very comfortable around animals. I grew up with a Shepherd and later a sheepdog, and I can handle big dogs. Recently, I've house sat with some much smaller, but just as energetic dogs! My experience involves staying in a client's home for longer than a week, while keeping up with trash/recycling, mail, packages, and newspapers, and helping the home look "lived in". I've also dog and cat sat while house sitting, which was great for them because they get to stay in a familiar environment instead of having to be boarded while their loved ones are away. Being able to stay at home and continue typical routines definitely helps reduce the stress of family travel on your fur babies. I also have experience carrying for pups with separation anxiety & aggression, as well as recent rescues adjusting to their new families. I'm very diligent about keeping routines consistent & reenforcing training that pawrents have been working on.
