Pet care experience
My name is Jessica and I have had many experiences with pets through out my life. I grew up with dogs & cats, and, I care deeply about animal safety and well being. I have done many drop-ins for various friends pets . I am a very friendly person and I take pride in meeting the needs of my clients. I clocked in the majority of my pet sitting hours my senior year of high school ( 2010) and in 2019, before I moved to Pittsburgh. I would love to help keep your animals safe and happy while you are away. Feel free to message me with questions. I would love to help you. Note as of 2022 I started working for Steel City pets, I am willing to book and help with your needs, but I have to go through my company first. I keep my rover account open so clients can read and leave reviews.

Jessica is most definitely a dog person and dogs love her right back. Every time she came to my house, my dog Bella would come right up to her for pats. Like it was second nature, Jessica would reach out and begin gently stroking my spoiled pupper and giving her the best undivided attention a dog would ask for. She is also great with cats!
I am enthusiastically recommending Jessica as a responsible and loving dog sitter. I have two dogs, a border collie mix and a very shy cavalier king charles and Jessica was able to lover her way into my dogs life. When my husband and I went on our honeymoon for 2 weeks across seas, Jessica stayed with our pets overnight. She is incredibly trustworthy. She sent us pictures every day while we were away. Her love of pets is incredible and I highly recommend her as a pet sitter! We have a full house - 2 huskies, and 3 cats!

If it is a drop in I will stop in after work, or before if it is applicable. I often enter and greet the animal and give them pets. I will then walk the house to make sure nothing is broken and that no accidents occurred. If all is good I will proceeded to feed the animal and check in the water and litter. After this I will play, walk or visit with the animal. Then I will secure and lock up the house.

A typical day
I like to walk, brush and play fetch with dogs. For cats i often play with them using toys or just giving them the attention they want.

Availability
I work full time at the DLCC. My hours are 8 to 5:30 . I am available most evenings and have no problem stopping in to care for your pet after work. I am off weekends for more frequent visits and walks. Generally, I am flexible with in these constraints.
