Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner my entire life, and I believe nobody deserves better than your favorite four-legged friend. I have petsat for both dogs and cats, and have taken care of them both at my home and at the owner’s home. I have also fostered dogs and have worked as a dog walker for multiple years. I’m excited to meet and play with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m a pretty athletic person, so running with your pup is no problem at all, and I’m open to exploring all new areas with some dogs. I have immense love for dogs of any age, and will do my best to provide them with as much assistance as necessary.

This was the first time leaving our new rescue dog and we were a little nervous about how he would handle it, but Jessica was terrific. She had great questions during our first meet n greet and was super flexible with our last minute travel schedule. She texted photos of our pup throughout our trip and kept us updated without us ever having to ask. She kept the house tidy, took our dog on walks, kept him clean, and our dog seemed super happy when we got back. Jessica has a calm, responsible demeanor and is obviously great with dogs. We will definitely be booking her for our future travel.

I love all breeds! But please do make a note of any tough habits your dog has (i.e. pees inside, chews clothes, barks all night etc.)
A typical day
I love taking dogs on various hikes around town (only on dog-friendly trails of course). I’m also knowledgeable of multiple dog parks if you prefer some socialization.

Availability
I work in a lab at UCSB and love taking care of pets on weekends, before/after work, and even on lunch breaks. My work schedule is flexible as well and provides working from home opportunities.
