Hi everyone! My name is Jessica and my #1 passion in life is caring for dogs! I have personal experience in caregiving - I have always lived in a household with at least 1 dog at a time and I have a 3 year old dog of my own that I love unconditionally. I have past professional experience working at a doggy and cat boarding and grooming facility. For the past 2.5 years, I have worked for the State of Missouri as a social worker working with abused and neglected children. The rewarding moments throughout my career are ones I will forever keep with me. My time with the State is now a piece of my past and I am more than ready to begin my journey caring for animals. I recently began volunteering with a local animal rescue facility. I love being able to care for the underdogs in my free time. My weekends are open and my availability during the week varies. Once you reach out, I can provide you with a more concrete schedule. I will be pursuing my Professional Dog Trainer certificate from May 2024 - September 2024. During this time, my availability will change to 3pm and after during the weekdays and open on the weekends. I can provide care for all types of dogs and cats - small, medium, large, puppy/kitten, senior, special needs or medicated. I am able to provide overnight care, drop-in visits and walks.
