A full time Pet Care Professional
Pet care experience
I’m currently closed to new clients accept for live-in care. Please do not send requests for Drop-ins or Walks if I have never cared for you’re pet before. Hello and welcome, as a pet professional with over 15 years’ experience I’ve boarded, groomed, trained, and worked with exotic pets. I’ll treat your pet and home with respect and can guarantee I won’t flake or place your pet in a dangerous situation. I’m also educated to spot signs of stress as well as indications of health issues that may mean medical intervention or a vet check is needed. I’m a full time Mobile Pet Care Provider, so I won’t have other obligations that get in the way of caring for your pet. Well…except caring for other pets. 😆 Service Descriptions: Drop-ins verse Walks: The only difference between a “Drop-in” and a “Walk” is that one involves taking your pet off your property while the other doesn’t. Many factors can affect the length of a “Walk”: weather, giving a meal, or the health condition of the animal, so distance will vary. If you’re looking to have your pet transported to another location (Vet, Groomer, Daycare, etc.) that can also be done as a “Walk”. A “Drop-in” to care for any animal that is not a dog can be done, though it will need to be registered as a cat regardless of actual species: cat, bird, reptile, fish, invertebrate, or plant. Giving meals and/or medications comes with either service. Sitting: “Sitting” can be done in two ways. The first is providing in-home care on an overnight basis, I will be effectively moving into your home while you’re away. This is not 24-hour care. It is only giving your pet my time when I have no other obligations. The second is three, 20-30 minute, “Drop-ins” a day (Morning, Noon, Evening) for those who don’t wish to go through the bother of scheduling so many visits. Please make it clear which you are looking for when you send a request. Grooming: A “Grooming” can be scheduled under the “Drop-in” service. Grooming involves a dry bath, nails, ears, and teeth, provided it can be done safely. I will cancel the service if at any point it becomes dangerous for me or the pet. Grooming does not include the clipping or cutting of fur or detangling of any kind. I also provide nail trimming to cats and exotics, as well as wing clipping for birds. Though these are services provided outside of Rovers per view. Nail trims for any animal is 20.00. Wing clipping ranges from 10.00-20.00 depending on the species of bird. Frequently asked questions: Q: Will you provide care to animals other than dogs? A: Yes, I have worked with many species extensively throughout my life, and though I don’t claim to be an expert on all of them, there is not an animal I won’t provide care for. Q: Will you give shots as well as pills? A: Yes, I have had diabetic clients before and am comfortable giving them their shots, as well as giving my own pets their vaccines. Q: Are you okay with multiple pets? A: Yes. I had six dogs of my own at one point and am not a stranger to multiple pet households. Q: Will you come to such and such area? A: Due to time constraints and the expense of travel, I do not provide service out of the displayed range provided on my profile. Q: Do I have to pay through Rover? A: Though I can’t force you to do anything, I prefer to stay on the app if possible. Not only can my contract be terminated if I were to be caught taking clients privately that contact me through Rover. It also provides scheduling, bookkeeping, and other business services for its Care Providers. Q: When do I have to pay? A: Technically, you can hold off on paying until the day of service, but this isn’t recommended. Payment preserves your spot on my schedule, so I recommend paying at least 2 weeks in advance. I have, and likely will again, turned people away because I didn’t have room on my schedule for them. Rover will charge your card once you confirm a booking and will hold on to that payment as a deposit until the job is complete. The deposit can be refunded in full at anytime provided the service hasn’t already begun.

Information Jessica R. would like to know about your pet
What is your pet's feeding schedule, where is the food located, and how much per meal? Is the pet on any medications? Does the pet have any behavioral issues? Aggression, anxiety, reactivity, etc. Do they have a typical walking schedule? What will the method of entry be, Key, Code, or Other?
A typical day
As a full-time caregiver, my daily schedule begins first thing in the morning and goes till late in the evening. The amount of time I can give to each pet varies depending on daily workload, but I will give as much attention and love as I can within time constraints.

Availability
I'm a full-time Mobile Pet Care Provider. My days are typically broken up into three sections, Morning, Noon, and Evening. Though the length of each shift varies based on daily demand, the blocks are as follows: Morning = 6:00 AM-10:00 AM, Noon = 11:00 AM-3:00 PM, Evening = 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. If your desire is for your pet to receive service during these time periods (though I will try to keep as close to the requested time as possible) it may shift to a later or earlier time slot based on location. I do take requests outside of these time periods, these are just the times during which the most flexibility is required.
