Pet care experience
I've grown up with a variety of dogs, GSD, mutts, poodles and now own a border collie mix that I adopted. I have experiences with high strung breeds and have had success leash training all of my pups. I'm very patient with timid dogs and also confident with my handling abilities. Typically my hikes range from 3-6 miles so if you're looking to have your pooch to be mentally and physically stimulated look no further! I was in an agricultural program in high school where I learned how to teach dogs ground manners and work with puppies. Previous to Rover I’ve had years of experience handling horses and working on farms. I’m very capable with handling animals and accommodating to their needs!

It was easy to work with Jessica. She communicated well and did as we asked. She also was able to build a trusting relationship with our skittish cat who quit hiding and let her pet him. We would be happy to use her service again!
I am the dog mom of two German Shepherds, Sadie and Rueger, Jessica is AMAZING with them. I have hired Jessica to both walk my dogs as well as pet sit for them and they love her. She has a very calm energy with my female Sadie who tends to be anxious. Sadie loves to see Jessica coming and is always over the moon when she gets to go for a walk with her. Rueger my male is 110 pounds of pure energy and is obsessed with playing catch. Jessica will throw his ball for him as many times as he wants, he adores her. They are both large dogs and Jessica is able to handle walking both of them without an issue. We have had Jessica pet sit for our dogs when we have had to go out of town because we will never board our two dogs. I can rest easy knowing she is watching over my dogs, she follows all instructions left for her and also sends photos and updates to me so I can see my babies while I am away. I never have to worry about my dogs wellbeing when Jessica is caring for them, she treats them like family. I would highly recommend Jessica to care for anyone's pets, she is honest, trustworthy, reliable and a good all around person.
I used Jessica to walk my miniature poodle Belle. She is reliable, she always shows up on time to walk Belle. Jessica is always courteous and pleasant. I would recommend Jessica as a dog walker or sitter. My dog loves her, she is good with animals.
Jessica is fantastic with my aussie sheppard! She's always on time and has a very bubbly personality. Thanks for everything Jess. I'll be seeing you again soon!

I live right near the CT air-line trail so that is my most walked trail. The area I live in has a bunch of local trails, ranging from 3-6 miles. I also have my own pup, Luna who is a border collie mix. She is great with other dogs and is extremely passive and submissive.

A typical day
The CT airline trail is a well used trail by me. I’m very comfortable with the trail and know the ins and outs of it. I’m also to salmon river which includes a big hill to exercise the doggies!

Availability
I'm currently in school so my schedule is very flexible. I'm available all day Friday-Sunday, and after 1 pm on Mondays. If you're looking for a dog walker Tuesday-Thursday my schedule can be very accommodating so I'm sure we can make out a time! Since it is summer break for school I am very flexible at the moment, but during school I'd love for long term clients to let me take their dog adventuring throughout the week!
