I have pets of my own that I've rescued and that I nurture and take care of better than myself, honestly. I currently volunteer at animal shelters and work in the mental health field. As a child, I would play with the stray dogs I encountered on the streets in Mexico and give them food and water. I have a vision one day to build an animal shelter where I grew up as my compassion extends from the people I help in the mental health field to our little furry animal friends in need of basic resources.
