I moved to Bend for my dog :)
Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats but really learned to love and understand dogs when raising my own adopted pup. I get so much fulfillment from being a dog foster mom and have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages, breeds/sizes, and temperament, and have watched many friends’ pups when they’re away. The more paws the better!

Franklin always loves hanging out with Jess and Frida. Always nice to have a dog owner to help with your dog walking. Franklin seems to always be tired out and smiley when I get home, so I have to imagine that he’s getting the exercise I feel guilty that I can’t provide on those days. Can’t recommend Jess enough!
Jess is one of the kindest, most patient, intuitive and loving dog mom's I know. She's watched mine and other friend's dogs countless times in addition to caring for her own pup, Frida. Not only that, she's been a foster dog mom many times over and has volunteered at shelters in both Oregon and California throughout the years. Any family would be lucky to have Jess watch their pets. They will be in great hands.

I’ll care for your dog in the same way you would! If your dog is great off-leash, I’ll be happy to take them off leash. If they require leash or an enclosed space, we can go to an off leash dog park, or on a river walk. In the home, if he/she is crated at night, or fine out of the crate, I’ll follow your guidance.

Any special needs, triggers, how he/she does riding in a car, with recall, and any specific words they respond to (eg., “here” vs “come”) I also am familiar using an Ecollar more specifically for recall so let me know if that’s something you use.
A typical day
Places I love in/around Bend for off leash running are Good Dog, Meadow Camp, and the Badlands. I’ll also stop at Hilltop, Overturf, or Pine Nursery off leash parks. Weather dependent, I’ll take my dog biking Phil’s or Cascade lakes areas or snowshoeing/XC skiing wanoga. Longer adventures are all over central oregon so it just depends on time and season!

Availability
I’m not working full time so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. When it’s just me and my pup, we’re on an adventure daily (hikes, bike rides) and she always goes to bed nice and tired! I rarely find myself somewhere that I can’t take her.
