Pet care experience
I was raised with dogs and cats. I went to school for vet tech and worked at Tufts Vet Hospital for a handful if years. I adopted a pittie from a shelter 20 years ago and fell in love with the breed. I volunteered with a pitbull rescue for a handful of years and have fostered and adopted many pit bulls since. Presently I have a 5 year old male pit from a shelter and 2 bunnies. I love ALL animals of all sizes and breeds. I have had pet rats, gerbils, fish, bunnies, cats and dogs. I am experienced with all sorts of temperaments and am comfortable handling any personality that comes my way. We all have quirks :) I am a fitness junky and enjoy trail walks and hikes and would be happy to take your pup along. I am also partial to snuggling up with a bundle of fur and just hanging out.

Jessica was everything you could ask for in a sitter and more. She is welcome in our home anytime. Leaving our pets at home and not in a kennel is very important to us and Jess was the answer. From our first interaction she was very pleasant and had our pets best interests in mind. I received updates with photos throughout our vacation which is always comforting. Jessica was super flexible with timing and never skipped a beat. She has my highest recommendation and we will be my first call next time we leave our Fur Friends behind.

I will maintain whatever schedule or routine your fur babies are used to. I send you updates throughout my stay and welcome any inquiries at anytime. I also can bring your mail in, trash out, etc. Basically a home and pet sitter all in 1. My goal is to remove as much stress/worry as possible when it comes to leaving the pets.

I would like to know the size and temperament, energy level, any personality quirks (my dog is obsessed with rocks), favorite activities, whether they are generally good eaters (some do not eat so well when their mom/dad is away; I am usually able to get them to eat ;))
A typical day
Hike, trail walks, lake/pond swimming, car rides, snuggle and naps, play fetch, snuggle up and watch TV. I am nore than happy to sleep with your pets - my own dog sleeps in my bed and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Availability
I work from home, which allows me to be mobile and home with your pet(s). For over nights, I bring my sleeping bag and pillow so there is no laundering of bedding needed.
