Hi there! My name is Jessica, and I adore caring for all shapes and sizes of dogs! I've had the amazing experience of occasionally boarding five dogs over a long-term basis (6+ years), and numerous (10+) dogs through my time with Rover! My family and I strive to make sure that both dogs and their parents feel comfortable during their stay with us. Doggies that stay with my family always receive TONS of love, affection, and belly rubs. We ensure that doggies get at least one long walk a day to get out their energy, as well as frequent potty breaks. We often find that Leo helps Pups with separation anxiety by distracting them (playing tug-o-war and chasing each other around!) and keeping them company 24/7. I always make sure to send daily updates AND photos to dog parents, as well as keep them in the loop with any important information or progress their pup has made throughout the stay. I have experience with potty training puppies during visits as well as caring for dogs with medical needs (specifically seizures, weight problems, hip problems, modified walks, medicine needs to be taken at a specific time, etc). My family and I are very patient and caring towards the diverse needs of each dog that stays with us. I'm a proud dog mom of an English Cocker Spaniel named Leo; he's a 3-year-old (neutered) boy who's very cuddly and friendly with other dogs. Leo is a very calm boy, but secretly loves energetic puppies who want to play tug-o-war and fetch with him!! A little bit about me: I'm currently a student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Society, Ethics, & Law. I've had the amazing experience of volunteering at an Elementary School for over four years, as well as being a full-time camp counselor at an overnight camp in the past.
