Having had many animals during my childhood (guinea pigs, terrapins, budgies, hamsters) that were my own to care for from a young age, I understand the responsibility of caring for animals and ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing. I currently have dogs and cats at my family home and so have a versatile repertoire of animal care and can be trusted with a range of animals to look after. As a year 4 vet student, I feel very comfortable around animals and want to ensure you feel as though your pet is being cared for properly and safely. We have had CPR training for dogs and cats so in an emergency would know how to respond, and in general may be able to look out for and act on any other problems whilst your pet is in my care. I have a keen interest in behaviour and training so would be more than happy to attempt some low-level training with younger animals.
