Hi there! I am a huge animal lover living on James Island. I recently switched careers from dental hygiene to now working from home full time. I've grown up around animals all my life and have always cared for dogs. We had all sorts of breeds growing up; Irish Setters, Shar-Peis, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, of course our mutts/mixed breeds and more. These dogs ranged in age from 8 week old puppy all the way to our beloved senior pets. My husband is also a huge dog lover. We look after pets for several friends and family members and I decided to step it up a notch and offer my services on Rover as well. Your dog will be treated like family here and get lots of cuddles and treats (if permitted).

Not only is Jessica the greatest friend of all time, she’s also the best dog mom to her 2 four legged children. I’ve never seen a love and care so much for not only just her dogs but any and all dogs. She’s welcomed and loved on our dog, Bruno every time she’s around. I truly think Jessica is a dog whisperer and I’ve never seen a dog that she didn’t love nor a dog that didn’t love her!
Jessica is one of the biggest dog lovers I’ve ever met! She cares for her two dogs like they are her own children. While her dogs are extremely loved, they are also disciplined and well behaved due to Jessica training them and providing them with positive reinforcement for good behavior. I know Jessica loves her dogs with her whole heart and would do just about anything to make sure they are happy and healthy!
Jessica is a great doggie caregiver! Her own dogs are her family. She treats them like her children. When she takes care of my dog, she treats him the same way. Very patient, loving, and caring. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their dog!

Before pet sitting I would like to know if your dog has, or has had, any history of biting or aggressive tendencies toward other dogs or children. We have a child that lives next door that likes to come play with our dogs and I would need to know if he is not to be allowed near your dog or if I'd need to keep our dogs separated for any reason. Even though I do work during the day I will be able to supervise your pup the entire time.
A typical day
I have a very large fenced-in backyard where there are plenty of sticks, balls and other toys to be thrown around. If your dog likes to play with other dogs then I guarantee they'll come home ready to sleep after running in the yard with my two other playful pups. I am in a great neighborhood on James Island that is very dog-friendly with light traffic, perfect for daily walks.
