Pet care experience
With over two decades of pet care expertise, my household is a lively mix with two kittens and an eccentric 21-year-old senior cat. We have also added a 2 year old rescue staffy to our little family and have a soft spot for stigmatized breeds. I am proficient in force-free training methods, and practiced consent based interventions wherever possible.

A typical day
I'm happy to play and engage in whatever ways are your pet's favorite, or just to cuddle up with a book and spend time together. If just having someone in the home helps your pet feel comfortable I can also spend time puttering by watering plants or other small household tasks as requested.

Availability
I am currently working on a self determined schedule and am flexible to visit your pets as needed. I'm happy to take them out for breaks, have a play or just read a few pages of a book so they are not alone. Walks will be 1h minimum and we will be accompanied by my 2 year old pup Herbert. I will only accept 1 dog at a time to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Walks will typically take place at one of the off leash parks in greater Victoria. All initial walks will need to be leashed with some flexibility for doing unleashed walks once a relationship is built.
